Shotaro Kishida is the Prime Minister of Japan’s son, as previously reported. Shotaro was a member of his father’s team, however, he first worked at a prominent trading business before joining the company.
After being selected as the executive secretary of Kishida’s team, he became one of eight executive secretaries working for Kishida, including six professional officials.
Shotaro, on the other hand, is currently in the spotlight since his father has fired him from that position. Fumio recently announced that his son, his executive secretary for political affairs, will resign owing to unethical behavior.
The significant move came after the weekly Shukan Bunshun magazine published images of Shotaro and his kin visiting the prime minister’s official mansion on December 30, 2022, attending a year-end celebration.
The photos showed guests posing on the red-carpeted steps, as well as group shots of freshly appointed Cabinets, with Shotaro in the center, which was reserved for the prime minister.
Following his removal, Japan’s Prime Minister announced that another secretary, Takayoshi Yamamoto, will take over on Thursday.
